Products

SRAM

Since it was founded in 1987, SRAM has gone onto become one of the biggest, most revered names in cycling. Their first product, the Grip Shift, revolutionized the mountain bike scene. Providing a simple and easy to use shifter for mountain bikes, the Grip Shift represented a major challenge to an ever dominant Shimano. Since it was introduced, the brand has continued to be a key contender in the world of bike components, and are now well regarded for a number of their cutting-edge products, across a broad range of brand names.

Rival, Force, Red

SRAM offers products at a number of different grades, catering to those just getting into cycling right up to the upper-echelons of the professional sport. In the entry level category there’s Apex, a 10-speed mechanical groupset. It might be the brand’s starting point but it still provides excellent shifting, and thanks to the WiFli system it’s able to offer a broad range of gear ratios.

In terms of performance ranges for road cycling, the Chicago-based company offers Rival, Force, and Red. All of these are can be 12-speed and shift electronically with the addition of eTap AXS.

Across The Range

For those looking to take their cycling more seriously, Rival represents a great choice for dipping your toe into the realms of performance cycling. Being 11-speed and employing WiFli technology, it offers a broad range of gear options, for either 2x or 1x set ups. With such a setup, you’ll be capable of conquering mountain ascents, as well as keeping pace in fast bunch rides. Opt for eTap AXS and you’ll have crisp electronic shifting, at one of the cheapest price points on the market.

Force is a step up from Rival. Like Rival, in the mechanical set up it’s 11-speed but it is made from lighter materials than the lesser-priced Rival. As you would expect, Force is a well-constructed product, more than capable of competing with the best. Add in eTap AXS, which comes with 12-speed, and you have a groupset that’ll cater for both road and gravel riding.

Red is the brand’s top-tier, pro-worthy groupset. Built using a combination of lightweight alloys, carbon fiber, and ceramic it’s a product very much for performance. With eTap AXS you can expect to have access to some of the widest range of gear ratios on the market too.

Gravel And Off Road

As we’ve mentioned, SRAM put itself on the map of the bike world with a mountain bike component. It’s no surprise then that they still cater to cyclists that prefer the muddier side of life. For gravel aficionados, XPLR offers the quality shifting you’d expect and a wide range of gear options. Offering 12-speed options in a range of gears from 10-44 teeth, with these ratios at your disposal you can take on anything. For full off-roading, there’s a broad range of 1x and 2x groupsets. It’s top-tier Eagle AXS offers great electronic shifting off road.

The Vision Continues

From the very beginning SRAM’s vision was to create a more fun, efficient, and faster experience on a bicycle. Today they deliver on this through a vast range of products for use on or off road. Always keen to take an innovative approach, the Chicago-based company continues to produce some of the best bike components money can buy.

So, whether you want a new SRAM Red Electronic groupset to complete your dream bike or just need to replace a worn bottom bracket, ProBikeKit stocks it all.
