The Fizik Aliante Versus bike saddle is an improved product constructed with a lighter foam. Much like the Aliante saddle, Fizik's Versus saddle is made with a graphite shell in the same popular shape. Good but not great
I have been on the hunt for the most comfortable saddle. It seems every year I have to find a different saddle. I find one that feels great for a while and then about a year later, it is uncomfortable. This year I decided to try as many saddles as possible and pick the best one instead of settling for the first on that was just OK. I have been a big believer in the cut out saddles. I do not like the pressure in the middle area. I have tried the Aliante in the past and did not like the pressure it put in the middle. I was hopeful the Versus would alleviate that feeling. While it does alleviate most of the pressure, there is still some in the taint area. About every 5 miles I find myself needing to stand for a few seconds to get rid of the pain and pressure in the middle area. I have tried 5 saddles so far. This one is in the middle as far as comfort. It is not the worst and not the best. Every body is different though and you might find you like this saddle and the way it feels. It does have more padding than most saddles. The padding is very firm though.
