Something to sit on

Great saddle but where is my wheel trimmer

Comfortable

I think that this saddle is made for flexible riders but I can barely touch my knees never mind my toes and I find that it is great (This is my second for a second bike). Only down side is that there are lighter offerings from other manufactures (Selle Italia) which are a similar price.

good, but personal

this is a classic saddle, even in it's relatively young age. The size and shape work perfectly for me and for others I've recommended it to. I'm not a big believer in anatomical cutouts and have not had any problems in 8 years of using various Arione saddles.

Great once setup correctly and bedded in

Ive been riding mine for 2 years so far, still looks new on top other than the print on the nose coming off. I found it a little hard and uncomfy when i started, but by simply lowering the nose about 5 mm it placed my sit bones further back and in the thick padding. Has been perfect since! Took about 2 months to bed in the foam, which is much softer now. I have never had a hot spot with this saddle and i have never understood the need for chamois creme. if your saddle is correct you wont get them (provided you have good quality shorts).

-make sure you set it up right
-allow some bed in time

Great flat and has alot of room to adjust

Saddles are different for everyone but it is comfy for a lot of different riding: racing, training or recreational, I would recommend!

Just not for me

The construction and design is top notch, this saddle just did not fit me right. If this saddle does not fit you give the Selle Italia SLR a try

An Acquired taste

An acquired taste. It's long and has a pretty harsh and narrow nose. If you want it for TT of triathlon then definitely get the padded nose versions. The Wingflex is a bit of a gimmick...you have to rack up some crazy miles to get them to finally cave...and by then the foam has given up, or the upper has worn out!

This is a great saddle if you like flat saddles and even better if you like sliding right back when climbing

Well made saddle though and colour options are also good

ouch

Ive ridden this saddle for 3 years on my Cervelo P3.
While this saddle at first appears comfortable the seams running down its length gave me saddle sores. I've since swapped it for a Selle Italia Tri which for me at least is much more comfortable.
The construction is good quality and the saddle has lasted well over 3 years of training and racing.

great but not perfect

I used this saddle for about a year while I was first starting to ride. My friends and I also tried the saddle. Its true when they say every butt is a little different. I liked it for awhile until I started to develop hot spots even with my chamois creme. Some of my friends love it, and won't use any other saddle. So try it out! It is somewhat affordable for one of the middle to higher end ranged saddles, and it comes in dope colors to match your Fizik bartape.

Pros:
-somewhat light
-long so you have varying seating positions
-material is durable
-comes in a lot of different colors
-has a popout for Fizik's proprietary lighting system

Cons:
-I developed hot spots
-no cutout for my goods

The best all-round saddle there is - 9/10

The original Arione is still an outstandingly comfortable saddle suited to all kinds of riding.
Its length offers a good amount of forwards and backwards room to sit, which helps with comfort on those long rides as you can inch back a little for that different position, with most saddles you end up sitting back in exactly the same place all the time.
