Comfy long distance saddle

Saddles are a very subjective and individual thing and this saddle fits ME like a glove. (your mileage might vary) How'd I get here though? 25 odd years ago, I started riding a Selle Italia Turbo, and that thing was awesome, but eventually wore out, and not finding a "Turbo" in Selle's lineup anymore, I just replaced it with a variety of saddles that started to resemble a Cycling version of Goldilocks trying to find the saddle that was just right. Finally went back to the beginning investigating all Selle saddles and found that the Selle Italia Flite Flow very closely resembled my old Turbo, but with some modern twists like the cutout, lighter weight, and more modern materials used for the padding, rails and shell. I've put 500+ miles on it so far, and NO issues at all. Definitely is a much improved version of my old Selle Italia Turbo. I couldn't be happier with it.

Sella Italia Flite Flow

Nice saddle that is not too costly. The usual case of adjusting the seat on the first few rides to get it to the most comfortable point. If you are doing maintenance on your bike i.e. working with the gearing and chain avoid touching the seat as it is very white. All in all a very nice saddle.

Still loving Selle Italia

This saddle is almost as good as the first Selle Italia I had. Unfortunately, that was stolen along with my bike. As soon as I replaced the bike, I knew I had to replace the saddle. Further misfortune is that Selle Italia no longer makes the model I had before. The rear two-thirds was split completely. It was like riding on air. I never had soreness from that saddle. From day one. This model is good. So much better than the saddle that came with my new bike. It's good, and I recommend it, but it doesn't measure up to a model Selle Italia no longer makes.

A comfortable saddle

I tried a number of different saddles, from a variety of manufacturers. This one suited me very well, with a comfortable ride, the extra width seems to help that.

Serious support

This is an excellent saddle. It has a somewhat wider flare at the back than the Selle Italia SLRs and SLs and is wider in the nose, so I would recommend it for riders with average width sit-bones to larger riders. The best part of the saddle is that it delivers a sense of real stability without having too much unnecessary padding—you get the feel that there's something to brace back against. It's the kind of saddle you can ride in comfort whether it's leisurely tempo rides or 80 mi.-plus hammerfests. I don't know that it's the best racing saddle within the Selle italia line, however. The SL/SLRs feel almost absent by virtue of the their narrower nose, which is great when you're in and out of the saddle in a crit or the like.

pain free riding

The Selle Italia Flite Gel Flow Bicycle Saddle is the best. Lightweight, comfortable, it makes any ride, long or short - pain free. No more saddle sores, and a great price.

Very comfy

Very comfortable saddle. Since using this saddle I have never had any soreness or loss of circulation down there.

Great upgrade

Good quality made saddle, easy to install and adjust.

Great on long rides.

Only down side I can think of is don't go white as its a bugger to keep clean not that its a big deal.

The most comfortable saddle I have even ridden

For the last couple of seasons, I've been riding the Fizik Arione saddle.

I changed for this season to find something more comfortable on longs rides. What a good change to make! I have nothing negative to say about this saddle.

The material feels great quality, showing no signs of scuff or wear even after 4000km this season. The gel seems genuinely to work, absorbing the road buzz effectively. The cut-away in the middle takes the pressure off the perineum far better than the Fizik saddles.

Genuinely not a bad word to say, but of course saddles are very much a personal choice...

Classic Beauty, Tested by Legends and Weekend Warriors

I rode a Prologo Kappa for a year and a half until a crash ended the life of its rails and consequently the saddle. I was never terribly comfortable on it so I knew it was only a matter of time until it got swapped out. On the quest for a new saddle I tried a Fizik, Selle Italia, Selle San Marco and a few others without cut outs. I had numerous complaints to voice against the cut out of the Prologo and nearly 100% had my mind set on a non-cut out until I tried this one. It truly is the perfect fit for me and I highly recommend it. There is a reason this saddle is still around!
