The GP4000S tyre is phenomenally popular thanks to its low rolling resistance, good grip and long lasting compound. Using Continentals Black Chili compound rolling resistance is reduced by 26%, grip is increased by 30% and mileage is increased by 5%. A great tyre for racing and popping out for a ride with your friends, the GP4000S is truly a fit and forget clincher tyre.
Please note, you can only order a maximum of ten.
Please note: tyres, including tubulars are covered for warranty against manufacturing defects only.
Damage caused by incorrect fitting, debris, solvents, UV damage, or wear and tear are not covered.
While puncture protection increases the tyre's protection against punctures the likelihood of puncturing is merely reduced, there is still a possibility of puncturing and no tyre is 'puncture proof'.

I've put over 6000km on these Continental GP4000S Road Tyres this season, mostly semi-competitive group rides and sportives but no proper racing. They feel smooth on the road and retain good grip through the corners even in Giro-esque conditions. I've had only three punctures all season which is commendable. I rotated the front and rear tyres at around 5000km, as the rear tyre especially had a number of superficial lacerations. I guess the puncture protective layer has been doing its job. I can't truly compare against another tyre brand, but with how good the Continentals have been, I don't have too! I'll be buying these again for next season.
Amazing tyre. Insane puncture resistance and grip (especially in the wet). Would recommend to anyone
I have been using these tyres quite happily for quite some time now. They are fantastic... low rolling resistance, reliable grip (as much as you can expect from a slick tyre) - even in the wet. Puncture resistance is the best Ive found (again, for a slick tyre, with which punctures are a fact of life! Thankfully, not too often with these babies on!)
I recently bought a new bike and used the manufacturer tyres for about 200KM while I was waiting for these tyres to arrive. What a difference!
If you think these tyres are expensive... believe me... they're worth it! (I could also mention they cost less than half the price on PBK than they do to buy locally here in Australia!)
Throughout thousand of kilometres these tyres have been fantastic for me and I'm still yet to have a puncture. While durable they also have fantastic road feel and some of the fastest non-tubular tyres you can buy.
I have used these tyres for the past couple of years for racing and have yet to get a flat while racing on these tyres.
They have great grip into corners and good rolling resistance would not use anything else.
Awesome traction in any condition, minimal rolling resistance!
I have tried Ultremos (Light, Fast but terriblly prone to flats and wearout easily) but always comeback to GP4000s.
I love that you can train and race in one tyre and not feeling that you are compromising one way or the other.
With race tyres you are compromising longevity (lack of) and price (high). With training tyres you are compromising on weight (heavy as a brick) and performance (grip, feel, cornering, rolling resistance are down).
Now if you use the Conti GP4000S, there is no compromise. Furthermore...with PBK's LBS killing doublepack pricing....its a no brainer!
Get them, their as sweet as a double dutch sundae after a 100km ride!
