put these tyres on my wifes bike she had vittorias on from original and they lasted a long time and were very durable and puncture proof
I'm a die-hard Rubino Pro user. Since they have increased the max inflation pressure on these things I rarely get flats. I'm 100 kg and run my rear tire at 130 psi. Maybe you light guys can get away with less pressure but I certainly recommend you big guys to give them a try.
Good cheap tires. Good for commuting or training, wouldn't use them for racing, but for the price cant complain.
I got the 25mm version and they are more comfortable than my 23mm. I found the compound quite sticky and the tread on the sides provide good traction when turning. I feel confident making fast turns. The tire also appears quite tough (to my touch), time will tell how puncture resistant these tires are. These 25mm tires are rated at higher pressure than other tires I have used. Haven't tried to inflate them to higher psi, but will experiment with it to see if it will give positive changes to rolling resistance. Probikekit ships quickly and the tires arrived Canada in 2 weeks. I found some extra freebies in the box: a free Dove bodywash, and couple of coupons. Unfortunately the coupons can only be used in the UK.
Best value tire! Great price. 25mm super confort
Have been using these tires for several years now (bike was originally speced with them) and they tend to last around 6-8,000km without issue. Tried a few other options and they either lacked the ride quality or the durability - these have a good balance between those parameters and I've always come back to them.
I'm extremely satisfied with these tires, good puncture resistance, good grip on road, on average they're good for about 3000 km to 4000 km depending on the type of ridding, and they're well priced. Overall good product !
Very happy with the tires. I'm 215 lbs. Love the ability to inflate to greater pressures vs other tires. Haven't had a pinch flat since Vittoria increased the max psi on the Rubino Pro
I am very satisfy to this product. it is an very good tyre and I receive my order very shortly. I recommended Probike kit .com . thank for all.
I've commuted on Rubino Pro clinchers for a few seasons now with absolutely no issues. After over 2 seasons of year-round use my old 23" tyres had little holes, rips & tears across the tread but nothing piercing the inner lining. I think the only flat I had in 2 years was from failing to clear my back wheel over a curb whilst dodging a turning car. The 25" so far have felt noticeably smoother over rough road surfaces. I haven't noticed a difference in rolling resistance or turning
excellent ratio quality/price. almost the best tyres i fond on the market.
Good tires did over 6000 km last year without any issues.I do recommend them for the price it's worth it.
This is an excellent road bike tire, competitively priced, long wearing and tracks well on any surface, especially in the wet. It is also a nicely balanced tire and fits well to any typical clincher rim. I use this tire exclusively now on my road bike winter and summer so a great " all season " tire too.
I have been using these tires for years now, They give me about 5000 km for a year. They do not give me too many flats and the price is great when its on sale.
Solid pair of tyres for winter riding, good grip though ride them on the lower end of recommended pressure for a smoother ride
Excellent. Exactly what I wanted. Anxious to fix it on my bike.
I needed a new pair of tyres since the rear giant-branded tyre on my TCR was worn down to the carcess. I chose the Vittorias over the GP4000s for two reasons: 1. They are cheaper 2. The roads here are really bad and wanted a tyre that was durable Compared to the giants these Vittoria rolled better and seemed to be a bit faster (1-3 kph). I did not get a puncture yet despite going over gravel roads during my rides. Wet weather performance is really good. Overal these Vittorias are a great all round, no hassle training/rec tyres. They can take a lot of punishment! If you are racing I would probably look at other tyres (e.g., GP4000s). I would probably buy another set when these wear out.
I love these tires. They came mounted on Mavic Ksyrium SL wheels. I've been riding on them for 5 seasons, average 5,000 km per season. I always pump them to their maximum pressure, i.e. 145 psi. They last the whole season. have very few flats, maybe 2-3 per season. Only once did the tire bust near the valve. The price is right too. Great tire from PBK.
The only tires I use. Great value compared to my local bike shop.
I commute year-round on the Vittoria Rubino Pro Clincher Road Tyres in Vancouver, I couldn't even estimate the distance, but I'm on them virtually every day for some length. They've been super impressive through winter and summer. I've had only a single flat, and that was from an impromptu curb-jump whilst dodging a car in which my back tire made full contact with the taller-than-expected pavement. So puncture resistance gets top marks. Rolling resistance feels somewhat sticky compared to the Conti GP 4000s on my road bike, but that's apples and oranges. Cornering and manoeuvrability on wet surfaces are excellent as well; they simply go where I want them to with no special effort on my part. They're showing definite signs of trauma, but nothing has pierced the inner protective layers yet. I'll be replacing them when the time comes with another set of Vittoria Rubino Pros for sure.
Wow, what a difference compared to the stock ones that came with my bike (Giant PR2). They stick nice, making my rides a lot more confident. Light too. And fast maxing out with even higher PSI than my previous set(s) which I've had to replace 3 times already - experiencing tear and pinch flats. 4 weeks and so far so good with these bad boys! They look great too in white against my black/red Giant. Probikekit has done it again, quick shipping, fantastic price, had me on the road in no time. Now what to buy next...
Great value for this Vittoria Rubino Pro Clincher Road Tyre. Performs similar to higher priced tires. Really good roll and the colour looks great.
These Vittoria Rubino Pro Clincher Road Tires are great. They feel comfortable on the road and grip nicely too.
I have been impressed by the efficincy of your system. I received all my orders within 1 week here in canada. I passed your information to some of my cycling freinds. Thank you again.
These tyres hit the sweet spot btw value and performance, I've done 3,700 kms and they are still going strong.
They roll well and have good cornering and braking in all conditions. The puncture resistance is high as I've not had one to speak of - only a pinch-flat.
Can't criticise anything about them really, they even look awesome with loads of colours to match your ride.
