Keep your gears turning smoothly with a new cassette and freewheel. Cassettes fit on the rear wheel, the freewheel bodies are mounted on. They typically have between seven and ten cogs, which gives you a wide range of gear ration. The teeth can become worn down though, so it is best to replace to avoid gears jumping and skipping. Mountain bike cassettes are traditionally 7-9 speed, but newer systems from Shimano and SRAM are beginning to offer ten cogs. We also stock mutli-speed freewheels, which are commonly found on budget bikes and BMX freewheels.
