great pedals at a great price, not sure how aero they really are, since they are pedals and end up on the bottom of your feet, but very lite and very pretty.
Great pedals but...
The Look KEO Blade are amazing pedals, hands down. I was torn between getting the "Aero" version, or getting the lighter weight Titanium axles. Because I ride track, lightweight is not quite as important, and being a sprinter, I could benefit from the stronger steel axle. So, I went with the "Aero" version.
It's basically the Look Keo Blade pedal, but with a small carbon shell that has been glued to the bottom. Nothing else is different.
Now will this little carbon shell that covers the hole in the bottom of the pedal make me any faster? I really doubt it.
For the cost difference between the regular Keo Blade, and the Aero version... I really don't think it's worth it. Maybe if it also included the Titanium axle.
If you're thinking about these pedals, I suggest saving your money and going with the regular Blade, or saving 30+ grams per pedal and get the titanium model.
