Schwalbe Marathon Supreme Reflex Clincher Road Folding Tyre

Great for a perfect trail ride: everything about this tyre has been tuned for control and maximum riding fun. The tread functions with absolute poise and is well behaved in every situation, like difficult terrain or singletrack, meaning that its name, which translates roughly as 'Jack of all trades' is well earned.

Great for bitumen touring

I have used these tyres on a tandem bike that has been used for loaded touring and day rides. These tyres are low weight and provide excellent grip and low rolling resistance on paved (bitumen) roads, but they are not as durable as the original marathon and marathon plus tyres on rough gravel roads, being more susceptible to cuts from sharp rocks.

For The Long Haul

I have toured unsupported half way around Australia on these tyres and they reign supreme! When you are touring, the last thing you want is kit that lets you down in the middle of now where. That is why I always use the best in all areas of bike and camping kit. These tyres are essentially for sealed roads but can handle the dirt, just drop the pressure a bit. My next tour will be Adelaide to Darwin and Port Hedland in June 2016, and will be heading out with these new Supremes fitted and one of the old ones as a spare. And course as for the spare tyre, they are a folding tyre so they stow away very neatly. What else?, well they roll nicely, corner well and feel safe at high speed descents. They have reflective side walls and every bit of visibility counts. They appear to be very long wearing and don't cut up in the quite the same way road bike tyres do. I can only remember having two flats using these tyres. They are well worth the money and having used them over a number of years i would pay more for them.

35mm Marathon Supreme

Had been using the 28mm version of this on my Kona Rove for 'gravel events', after suffering a slow leak on one particular stretch - where a buddy also flatted -- I knew I needed just a bit more tyre. This fit the bill perfectly! Fast rolling on tarmac, and not squirmy at all on fast curvy descents like the stock semi-knobby that came with the bike. More then enough traction off road on steeper climbs. And enough control when things turn a bit soupie. A tyre to stick with fer sure!

Haven't installed yet.

Just received tires, old ones still have some life in them and they have been an excellent fit for my style of riding.

Fantastic dependable commuter tire

I'm a year round commuter in Vancouver, Canada. Bought a Brodie Romax cyclocross bike in Nov 2013, equipped the bike for commuting (fenders, pannier rack), but stock file tread 700x33 cyclocross tires punctured 2x in first two months. Needed reliability to bike to work in often rainy dark conditions during winter months loaded up with lunch, laptop, and change of clothes. Schwalbe marathon plus made the short list, but I didn't want the extra weight. So I splurged and picked schwalbe marathon supreme 700x28 from probike website Stunning tires. Immediately noticed the improvement in speed. Fantastic in wet or dry. Reflector strip is very visible in the dark. Shrugs off stones and glass. Hard to believe that a tire this light is so bulletproof. Unbelievable! I'm now up to ~3500 kilometres. Tire tread still looks like it has many kilometres to go. Zero flats during my commutes (but I did pinch flat once on a very rough gravel mountain bike trail) If these tires ever lose their tread, I will definitely replace with same tire. Definitely worth the premium price. Highly recommended.

Best commuting tires ever

I would highly recommend these tires. I have had them on my daily commuter for 2 years without a flat and now after about 8,000km they need to be replaced. Best tire ever, it's fricken wicked awesome 
