When riding during spring & autumn in cold regions, i find that my tuque is not good enough alone as a wind barrier, so i figured i could use a base layer for my head. I also need neck protection but not too bulky as it needs to fit under my zipped up garments. This fits the bill perfectly. Great wind stopper.
The only problem i have with it is the tightness on my nose when i wear it ninja style. Maybe it wasn't designed for that, but it kind of works for me, at least it's bearable. Could be i have a big head, since my nose is pretty small.
