Windstopper 4 way light on the front and sleeves is incredibly lightweight, while the 4-way stretch construction provides a full range of movement. This material also features a breathable outer shell which keeps the wind out and it's waterproof for full protection in cool weather.
The back of the jacket is made of TDTxp to offer warmth but still provide excellent breathability to keep you dry. - A.D.

No exaggeration
This product does exactly what it says on the description. We don't really suffer winters in Perth and have just had the hottest July on record so I haven't had a chance to really test my jacket until now. Finally winter arrived and we had a 2 hour ride at around 5 deg. C. It was perfect with a thin T-shirt base layer. Kept the chill out even when it dropped to 2 deg in places, and when I started to heat up a bit, on the tough bits i dropped the zip a fraction (5cm) which allowed just a little cool air in to cool me back down. As for sizing and look, spot on, on both counts. I am 176cm, 70Kg and the European large is a comfortable body fit and I like the bright colours. But then our group colours are mainly red with a bit of black/white so I blend in. Only improvement I would suggest is a bit of reflective trim on the back below the Gruppetto logo for the early morning starts or evening commutes home.

Sportful Gruppetto Jacket
I purchased the Sportful Gruppetto Partial WS jacket recently for early Sportive riding in the UK plus an early season training camp in Majorca. It has been an excellent choice. I've been wearing the jacket over a base layer and cycling jersey and it's a comfortable, snug fit. It's a BodyFit Pro jacket, so there are no flappy bits. The lining is soft and warm but the jacket breathes well and I haven't over-heated. I've been out in heavy rain and remain dry. It's windproof so I've had no issues on cold descents. Sportful are a quality Italian company and this is a quality, stylish jacket. I couldn't ask for more.
