A must have
I love this. One of my favourite bits of kit. The yellow is a nice alternative to the generic Hi-Viz gilets you see on the commute. Super light, compact and breathable.
Fantastic value
This is a great piece of kit I won't leave home without. Water resistant and relatively wind proof. It really does pack away to the size of a tennis ball and it's super light. I got this in the yellow, which is nice and bright for visibility. There is generous black mesh panels down the sides for ventilation. I'm usually an XS on Sportful but had to go a size up to small because I found the xs wasn't long enough at the front. I got this at a bargain price from PBK.
Sportful Hot Pack 4 Gilet
I bought this gilet to keep the wind chill off, and to be stuffed into a small sack, for my 27 mile round trip commute. It does both of these well, and is very thin, lightweight and has it's own stuff sack. It ends up about the size of a tennis ball when stuffed. It looks like it should be showerproof but I haven't had a chance to test this yet - it does have largeish vertical mesh vents along the back which help with cooling but will totally defeat the object of showerproof-ness. Shame Probikekit don't publish decent pictures of these things, but for the price it's still a good buy and I am regularly using it with arm warmers and knee warmers and short sleeves underneath now it's autumn and temperatures are between 8-12C.
Great little gilet
I had one of these in white but my girlfriend has pinched it off me. They're thin and really lite but do offer a good extra layer of protection, I haven't been caught out in a shower in it yet but reading other reviews they are shower proof. Full price I think they are expensive but thanks to PBK I got it reduced at a good price.
Top Gilet
If you want a windproof and reasonably waterproof layer that breathes very well and packs down tiny then this is the one for you. Tiny/windproof/water resistant and is so small in your pocket it hardly noticeable. The sizing is small - I'm normally a medium and needed XL!
