Does what it says on the tin
5Considering the apparent scarcity of cycle parts at the moment which I hope is rectified soon, this was a "steel" Campag equipment at its best is of the highest quality available of which this cassette is an example. Smooth running and gear changing.

Getting older requires more teeth!
5Like several other reviewers, I'm a cyclist of a certain age (+55) and I've been persevering with a 11-25 set up on by best road bike for a decade. But having recently struggled with a few killer climbs I have finally switched to a more forgiving ratio of 11-29. Very pleased so far and finding climbing easier as a result, and this cassette lives up to the usual Campy standards. I’m using this Centaur cassette with a mix of Record chainset, Chorus shifters and Potenza 11-speed chain which I have also recently switched to replace a Record 11-speed chain.

Just what the legs ordered
5I wanted an 11 speed cassette that allows me to continue using a 42t inner ring (42 x 16t should never be underestimated for LSD use!) and has the range necessary for me to spin (or suffer more likely) up the steep hills of Kent during early Spring. Not needing an 11t, the Centaur 12-32t fits my requirements perfectly, and I don't worry about negative looks at home when I replace it compared to the price of higher range Chorus - SR models that aren't available with the same range. During the summer, 12-29t and 12-27t cassettes work for me so those are from higher up the Campagnolo range, but there is nothing to compare to (or available to replace!) the Centaur 12-32t I use when I care more about the weight on my waist than of my bike.

correct gearing for hills
5I went to this for a long hills ride , and it worked out exactly what I needed . The 11 to 29 gave me the range needed for 130 km of undulating hills with a couple of steeper ones in the mix

Campagnolo Centaur 11 Speed Cassette, 12x32
5As I grow older, my cassettes are getting bigger. Replaced my SR 12x25 with Centaur 12x32. Really love the range of gears it gives me, I find shifting has improved as well for some reason. I run last generation SR short cage derailleur with no problem.

Campy Centaur 12-32 Cassette, 11 speed
5Its Campagnolo, Its durable quality, heavier than the higher end cassette's, but I only needed the last triplet, but regardless, the whole cassette shifts flawlessly.
