The Garmin 130 is a compact cycling computer that weighs just 34 grams. Equipped with a clear, black-and-white screen, the display is easy to read in a wide range of conditions - from commuting in pitch black to heady summer road rides. Thanks to the large buttons on the side of the unit, the Garmin 130 is easy to use, even when wearing thick winter gloves. Packs a lot

Bought this to replace a damaged Edge500. So easy to set up once I had downloaded the Connect app to my iPhone. Both heart-rate and cadence sensors transferred via bluetooth. Have only used a couple of times but the screen is a lot easier to read then my old edge500 although it is the same size and it is physically smaller then the 500. As someone who is not that tech savvy I spent a couple of hours setting it up and getting used to how it works.Managed to transfer some routes off connect and will try the navigation out soon. Only downside is not a full instruction book supplied and have to download it,previous unit had a full instruction book, sign of the times i'm afraid. Excellent service from Probikekit and the best price available. One very happy customer.

Very fiddly

Bought this just after Christmas after I read some good reviews I'm not that impressed it's ok but very fiddly to operate as it's not touch screen and whilst scrolling through the menu you end up touching another button as the control's are very close i use strava when out cycling which in my opinion is just as good and it's free!!

Great little unit

Just what I needed. Small, light, unobtrusive but still has more features than most people need. Setup was quick. GPS lock on is quick. Paired with all my existing sensors (Wahoo TickrX, Magene cadence and speed, old Garmin Ant+ Heartrate etc easily.) Once I let it install the latest update it even paired with my TACX smart trainer perfectly for both speed/power and Smart Trainer control mode. I use it to run planned indoor workouts synced from Training Peaks. Navigation screen is a bit minimalist but I expected this on a tiny black and white unit, and it's not what I bought the unit for anyway (get a bigger unit if you want to rely on mapping). Only real complaint is the Micro-USB connector for charging. I'm a fan of USB-C, but will have to live with fiddly non-reversible Micro-USB connectors for a while yet it seems.

Garmin Edge 130 Plus

Great little GPS device with a secure fixing mount. Easy to set up via Garmin Connect with numerous display layout options & variety of data fields to provide your preferred cycling stats. Would recommend purchasing the Garmin Speed & Cadence Sensors to provide accurate mileage, speed stats & cadence outputs. The Navigation function is basic compared to the more expensive Garmin GPS Models but all in all good value for money product and certainly a great improvement on my old wireless Bontrager trip computer
