Good replacement for old garmin
My edge 500 may still be going strong, but the heart rate monitor gave up the ghost after about 6 years. This one paired up easily and the bluetooth function appears to work as well. Having used it for several 5 to 7 hour rides, I'm happy with the results and comfort. My only issue is bad readings when wearing a jacket at high speeds. I suspect the zipper was flapping against my chest - giving readings over 200 bpm. I rarely had this problem with the garmin but it's not a big deal.
