Good tube for allround riding

5Although it is slightly on the heavier side this Continental tube still makes for an all round great performer. Its suitable for training and racing and is very reasonably priced.

I have tried these, but I have since completely switched to the Michelin with the 40mm smooth valvestem. I had one set of the Contis fail at valvestem/rubber interface. I have not had complaints with other ones of these Contis that I have had, but I do feel they flatted a bit more often than the Michelins. As they have gone bad, I have replaced them with the Michelin with no regrets.
Try the Michelin instead, is my recommendation and if you have not tried smooth valvestems for any reason, give them a shot as it makes airing up easy and gives no stress to the tube at the valvestem at all with my pump and pumphead as it attaches to the valve head.

5if you aren't obsessed with a few grams weight this is perfect. Use the long valve on my 30mm rims and works fine

Good value tube for everyday use. I use the short valve and haven't had any issues with pumps, but I guess it depends on your pump. They're pretty easy to change.
Haven't had any punctures. My only reliability issue was a broken valve, but that was on a pretty old tube.
Durable, good quality

Continental makes good products, and this tube is no exception. The valve area is well-made and not as flimsy as those on no name tubes. Though its more due to the tires than the tube, I havent had flats using these yet.
Received one with a defective valve core, but was replaced by PBK in short order with no hassle. Thanks!
Blend of value and performance
4I have been using these for a while as a default training tube. They are not overly light but are durable with high quality valves and I've never had any quality control issues or blow outs. For the money you can't go wrong with these. I would recommend these for your training wheels and if you are lucky enough to have race wheels go for something like the race lights or supersonic - also made by Continental.

5When a product never lets me down, I stick with it. I have never had any issues with these tubes, and I have never had any problems with the valve stems as stated by a previous reviewer. These tubes do their job and they do it well.

4Good value for the money. These tend to stand up well with minimal punctures and issues. I prefer the long stem as it makes it way easier to inflate without worrying which type of pump device you are using.
