Inner Tube Blues

Yeah so I ordered 3 x 650C Michelin tubes. I wanted very light "race tubes" tu run on a set of narrowish 650B cx rims. I received one tube in a timely way. Nice, light, what I wanted, but I have two wheels on my bike. A second one showed up about a month later. The third one never showed up. I realize this is a special item. But don't advertise or sell it if you can't send the whole order timely and together. Just the postal/environmental aspects make zero sense. I should have just asked my LBS for some 26" tubes instead. I am trying to like PBK I really am, and for the stuff that everyone wants, it's fine. But for less commonly purchased items... I am frankly getting a bit leery as to whether PBK is the right solution. Just saying.

Michelin Aircomp Road Inner Tube - impressed

220lb Cannondale rider running Schwable Ultremo ZX tyres. Saved 35grams per tube compared to std butyls. Thing I noticed that the bike felt a little smoother and rolled very easy. Big thing is that tubes haven't lost any psi over a week...std tubes always required some pre-ride inflation to bring it back to 110psi....aircomps simply haven't needed any inflation when checking with the tyre pressure gauge...that surprised me. So far very impressed. Would I buy more, you bet.

Great tube

Far better than Continentals (in my opinion). Trouble free and do there job perfectly (easily inflate and stay that way), which is how a tube should be.

Short valve for shallow rims only.
