Big riders...this is your bling bling pedal
4Look finally have something to rival the SPD-SL pedal series. This makes up for the shortcomings of the Cheaper Keo series. Feel a lot more solid clipping in and under load

Replacing a worn out pair of Keo Carbons (old version without the steel foot plate. The old pair had work out after 3 years and are very durable but the carbon foot plate was where they had worn. Hopefully the steel foot plate will be more durable.
The blade is a definite improvement over the spring version of these pedals for entry. The entry is more definite and there is less gap between being clipped in or out. With the blades your either in or out which improves confidence when clipping is.
The wider platform is only just noticeable of the spring version, but these do feel closer to the Dura Ace pedals for stability.
Overall a great pedal offering the best of all worlds.

5These pedals are awesome! Look did a great job with these pedals. The platform is very wide for those with wide feet. Feels like you have a 2x4 under your feet. For racers I recommend the 16NM tension for a tighter release. The grey cleats have the perfect amount of float, as long as they're positioned correctly. Very pleased with my pedals.

Compared with previous Keo pedals, the Blades have a larger contact surface for the cleat and support your shoes firmly with no rock or wiggle. It’s a really solid attachment and we had no problem with hot spots or flex. Look offer two versions with different spring weights. The 12Nm spring makes them especially easy to release, and there’s a 16Nm model for riders who want to be more securely attached.
Neither is adjustable so you need to pick one and stick with it, although Look dealers can swap the blades if they have the necessary tool. Look include a set of Keo cleat covers so you can walk to the coffee counter in them, and throw in both standard and Keo Grip cleats in grey 4.5° float.
