Great Saddle
3I've used this model saddle for years and needed a new one to go with a new bike I got this year. For me it's the most comfortable saddle I've ever ridden. Price was the best around - a great deal. I live in the States and maybe I didn't read the fine print, but it took almost 3 weeks to receive the saddle. I chose the free shipping option. I was relieved when it finally came. I was expecting 6-9 days. That's the only reason I didn't give it a 5 star rating.

5Great saddle. Same shape as its predecessor which fits my bottom perfectly. A little hard but I'm still breaking it in.

I've tried a bunch of saddles including the Antares and the Aliante is the most comfortable. The antares fits me according to the chart, but it isn't something I can sit in for more than 3 hours.
The aliante is softer and more substantial. It feels like you are actually sitting on something and not just leaning over a plank, such a simple design but it beats all the high tech stuff I tried!
Excellebt saddle

When it comes to saddles, if you don't notice anything after about 80 miles, that is a good saddle.
This is an excellent long distance saddle, but I could still feel some pressure and had numbness after about 40 miles. So I searched for something that fit me personally a little better. But it is well constructed and compliant. I have nothing negative to say about it; it just wasn't the perfect saddle for me. Almost all my friends love it, especially the person I gave mine to.
It has a sweet=-spot, but it is a mild depression, so you can still move forward and backward a little if you desire for different circumstances.
We love the Aliantes scooped shape
4Your benchmark saddle will be one that fits your bum, but the Aliante is a favourite of ours for its shape, comfort and sensible price and weight. Its twinflex base led to the Kurve's composite base,and the looped carbon rails on some of the Aliantes saddles gave rise to the Mobius rail. We love the Aliantes scooped shape, which keeps you planted comfortably, with a raised tail to push against on climbs.

4This is my favourite saddle for long road rides. Reasonable comfort in multiple positions on the bike, although it is not a good TT/tri saddle for me. Has held up very well for >5k miles.

Pretty good saddle with the typical Aliante shape, at about half the cost (and a little more weight) of the non-gamma version.
Generally, the shape encourages a single position on the saddle - in contrast the Arione shape allows for much more movement. Something of a personal choice as to which is preferable.
I find this to be quite a soft saddle with generous padding, perhaps better suited for a slightly more upright position. When getting really low (rotated hips) I think the extra padding allows weight to be distributed away from the sitbones into less than ideal areas.
Great for the Sunday club runs though.
Good test saddle
3Great way to work out if you like a new saddle. Aliantes are a favourite of certain riders, has quite a curved profile. This version is actually a bit more durable (the foam is a bit more solid) but it adds 100grams over other models (which is quite a bit in a saddle)
