I purchased this tool as I needed it to service a Token bottom bracket (Campagnolo compatible). The first thing I noticed about this tool was that the spline area that connects with the bottom bracket doesn't have a positive engagement/contact area. I found that I had to really be careful when tightening/loosening as it has a tendency to slip off. Perhaps the spline area on the bottom bracket was not deep enough to provide a positive fit.
Perhaps a solution would be a shorter body so that when you attach this to your ratchet wrench, you can feel more confident that the fit is tight or you run the risk of slipping, damaging the spline on your bottom bracket, or worst, ripping the skin off your knuckles.
The BBT-22 bottom bracket tool is an excellent quality tool from Park Tools. Purchased the BBT-22 bottom bracket tool and a CWP-7 crank puller. Changing the bottom bracket (shimano square taper) and crankset was an easy job with these tools.
