This is 9 inches long. It will not fit in a small road under-seat saddle bag, such as the Specialized Mini-wedge (6 inches long). I thought it would compete with the Specialized Air Tool Minipump which is only inches long but it is much longer and not nearly as well constructed (it is made of plastic). It would fit in a large touring pack or pannier.
Nothing fancy but should do the job for emergencies
The pump is made of plastic but feels tough and durable. For something made in Germany, as claimed in the packaging, it is quite inexpensive. So you won't feel bad if you drop it or abuse it. The product description on PBK is wrong: the max pressure is 85psi (as indicated on package and on SKS' website), not 115psi. You'd still need herculean strength to attain that max pressure with this little pump. All things considered, I think this pump should do the job in emegencies.
