First rate tyres
5Fast and reliable. So easy to fit, you don’t need levers. Just start from the valve and work the tyre over the rim each side.

5For years, the Conti GP 4000 and then the GP 5000 have been my tires, no questions asked. These are the same amazing tires but with a sweet looking gumwall/cotton tire look. Can't go wrong!!!

3Tires arrived quickly, despite the shipping distance. However, these measure 23.6mm. The box reads 25mm and the tires read 25mm but my calipers read 23.6. I measured my old set of Grand Prix and they measure 25.5mm. Hmm... I thought they looked skinny when I was mounting them. I haven't ridden 23s in quite a few years, and wouldn't voluntarily choose to. The 2mm difference is quite noticeable on the rough, broken poorly kept roads around Los Angeles. I give them 3 stars because on smooth pavement they are fast and grippy.

1’ve always used continental 5000 but This kind is the worst set of tyres I have 9 flat in probably like 15-20 rides they got flat with the minimum or smallest thing on the path, they are very fast, smooth and light, I’ve use them for a race the good things I got flat when I’ve finish it.

5A big fan of Conti’s 5000 tires so I decided to get a pair of the transparent to spiff up the look of my all black bike. Since the transparent sidewall comes by elimination of one thin layer of black chili compound, I was a bit hesitant due to comments about sidewall punctures. I ordered a pair of 28’s and they arrived in 5 days to the US. Fantastic! Immediately put them on and did an 80 mile mountainous ride. I put 75 psi in each tire (seems to be the trend for lower pressures) and set off. The road “feel” was sublime approaching a tubeless ride with far less road vibration. Is there slightly more flex with the thinner walls? Probably. Less life? Probably, but worth it!

5Lovely looking tyre and roll nicely as well. Just put these on my winter bike and noticed the difference straight away. Feel really nice on the road and the tan sidewall really stands out. And really easy to fit.Lush!

4I can't say for other Continental tire models, but this GP5000 with brown sidewall (transparent) is a lot norrower than the label. I initially bought 25c, which measure about 23.5mm (on my 17c rims at 100 psi). I finally bought 28c, which measure about 26.5 mm.
