The modern classic.
It is not only visually that the authentic design of the Grand Prix Classic upgrades any retro race bike, or modern for that matter! It’s what’s inside that also counts, after all this new addition to the Continental range, with its brown sidewalls and Conti Sport tread profile from 1982, is actually based on the current Grand Prix tyre. Thanks to a PolyX Breaker, highly stable and fine 180 TPI nylon carcass and the legendary BlackChili Compound, it presents itself technically as a state-of-the-art racing tyre. The contemporary dimensions 25-622, a folding bead – Handmade in Germany – guarantee comfort and light running.

Great tyres for most of road conditions, great grip under rain. Nice retro looking also, totally recommended.
The Contis roll fast, withstand punctures and look great with the tan sidewall. Quick postage to Aust from Probikekit too.
Just put these on my classic steel bike and they look great but have some initial doubts about the durability. The rubber around an area of bead tore on my first ride causing the side wall to tear and mire tube to pop. Not sure if it was a defective tube, seating issue or if I some how nicked the rubber during installation. Time will tell... PBK was good enough to send a replacement tire.
