Gatorskins rule
5These tires are hands down the best I've found for all-around use and durability. I ride 22mm's (not enough frame clearance for 25mm) on every surface imaginable this summer including several rides with bony, steep uphill/downhill gravel sections - never had a flat or issue. The tires weigh a bit more (negligible compared to other tubulars in my opinion), but the wearability is easily 2x any other tire I've ever tried. All tubies are a pain to change - so having a tire you seldom change makes all the difference.

5Ever since started using this tire, goodbye flats (knock on wood). 2000+ km on the same set including two full IM races (one on really bad surface, people with flats all over the place). Maybe other tires are "faster", but I prefer to be 3 minutes slower after 180 km, than 30 min slower after a flat.

5Maybe you wouldn't want these tires, if your riding consisted solely of races on glass-smooth roads completely free of glass or thorns. But if that's not the case, I cannot recommend a better tire for you. The extra weight over the non-Gatorskin Sprinter is negligible, but these are MUCH more puncture-resistant. Also, they have a different tread pattern than the non-Gatorskin Sprinter: I prefer the slight patterning on the Gatorskin, which I feel gives better grip. But the most surprising aspect of these is that they roll fast and are quite comfortable, even when pumped up to 120-130psi. I have also tried the Competition and the GP4000 tubulars, both of which wear much more quickly and are much more puncture prone. Presumably this is the intended trade-off for those racing tires, but I'm not convinced they're any faster (though admittedly I haven't conducted any scientific experiments). PBK ought to carry the 25mm width, given the current fashion for wider tires (justified IMHO).

5ITS much better then the one I bought years ago, nice packing packing of some expensive tires were not that good, I think its because not much ppl will buy those gataskin I think selling very well, products looks fresh
