Awesome Tires

I have been using these tires for 2 years now on 2 deferent bikes and with10,000 km with one flat / cut sidewall, due to a rock, I'm definitely happy with their performance! They offer decent mileage, good grip, great road feel and at the price point offered I get 2 for the price of one at the local bike shop. I have ordered from Probikekit a number of times and have to date not had any issues , items are well priced and are as expected from descriptions, this along with prompt and acceptable delivery of tracked shipments will keep me as a customer. .

tires mich pro4

the green tire that i ordered per your photo shows the colour of the tire being celeste green but when i received the tire, it was a lime green----can i get the tires in blue? they are still in original package, cheers

My favorite tire

No recent reviews on this site, so I thought it a good idea to throw one on here concerning longevity. Went thru my second set recently, with both getting about 3,000 miles. (I rotate about 1k in.) Compare this to ProRace3's which got me about 2,500. Of the ProRace line, the 2's tended to get me the most miles at almost 4k, but the two latest in the series far out-handle that old version. The 4's resist cuts much better than the 3's. Stick well in corners, both wet and dry. Nice assortment of colors. Mount very true. High quality.

Good When New

The roads and bikeways in my city are strewn with glass, sharp stones, small hardware, thorns, you name it. For the first 800 miles or so, these tires were the best I've ever ridden. Light, supple, low rolling resistance, great traction, and seemed to have good puncture resistance. However, at approximately 800 miles, the rear tire was pretty well squared off. I'd guess that to be around half the tread life. At that point, the flats started. In my past 5 rides of 20-25 miles, four flats, and 7 total in the past 200 miles. In conclusion, this is a good tire for clean roads, but if yours are as shabbily-maintained as mine, I'd look for a tire with better puncture resistance. I'm switching back to Rubino Pro for now. They don't ride as nice as the Pro 4 due to the stiffer, harder, puncture-resistant belt, but I'd rather not stop to fix a flat almost every ride.

Grip like mad but stress cracks on sidewall

These tires grip like mad in the dry and were pretty predictable in the wet descents. But you still need to be careful. I'd give them 5 stars but the tires have developed cracks in the sidewalls. And this was only after less than a year! They haven't diminished the performance but it is a bit unnerving to see. I've used Shoe Goo to cover the cracks but there are just so many on the front and back tires. For as good a reputation as these tires get those sidewall cracks just are not what a top tire should have! And to date I haven't seen anything about a recall but have seen many others with the same issue. So until I find out this issue has been fixed I'm going to Conti's for peace of mind.

Decent rubber

Good ride at 100psi and decent durability. Used for May-sept race season. Wore out back tire. Good thing I bought 3. Would consider again but Vittoria open corsa rides even better. Have switched to Vittoria rubinos for fall and spring.

Could be better

I ride these tyres on 3 different road bikes and will continue to do so. I have recently moved all bikes to 25mm Pro 4 tyres from 23 Pro 4 mm tyres. Pros: Ride, grip , wet weather is very good indeed. Cons: Side walls are very weak and are prone to cuts and slices. Check them regularly. I find gauging the treadwear use is harder than on other tyres. At an early stage, they have all developed disturbing looking fatigue cracks in the tread casing. NEVER had any tyre fail because of this but the cosmetic look is not attractive and is unnerving when you see it for the first time.
