Awesome!

Heard alot of good reviews about these tyres so snapped them up for a bargain price from Probikekit. Couldn't believe how well they rolled or how light they were. Never used Michelin before but I might just be a convert now. Not sure as to durability yet, but for the price you can't go wrong! Service from PBK was first class again.

BEST CRITERIUM CLINCHER

5

Michelin's most recent output of a high-performance racing clincher following the release of the pro-3 several years ago has been everything but a disappointment. when you first look at the pro-4 in person, your first thought is: 'there's no way this tire is going to hold on to a corner'. but when you first ride on them, its like magic. this tire feels very similar to if you were to put a set of "soft" racing tires on your car. because of the way this tire is made, and also due to the lack of an actual tread pattern, it can deal with a much lower tire pressure but at the same time will still roll quite effortlessly. instead of using a tread pattern, the tire uses an extremely well-developed compound that makes up the entire outside casing of the tire, therefore making it a non-directional tire. Because of this, the tire reacts incredibly well with the road surface, whether the road is wet or dry. I just recently raced in the Florida criterium championships which had one of the most hazardous crit courses (particularly in the corners) I've ever raced on. I used a pair of lightweight aluminum clinchers which I paired with my pro-4s. long story short: the tires never let go! even through some really intense corners, and considering the fact that I'm 6'7 and have a very undesirable center of gravity, I was more than impressed. Even my friend who I was racing with at the time slipped out several times (despite the fact that he was using a pair of GP 4000s's) Probikekit's prices are absolutely amazing, I work at a bike shop and can get everything for almost wholesale, but the prices here are even better!

Great traction

USA cyclist here. I have a little over 1700 miles on my Service Course Pro 4's. Bike is 2012 Scott Cr1 Pro with Soul 2.0 clinchers. Also moved tyres to Cervelo R5 for comparison ride. Good get up and go and very good cornering traction @ 35 mph [56.3 kmh] on 12-15 degree slope - one can feel the tyre shoulders gripping. Gone off edge a few time to see if they would slip and they held tight! No flats and ride is comfy and smooth. Highly recommend. Last note, ProBikeKit has thee best price in the world!

Michelin Pro Race 4

4

I'm happy with the Michelin Pro 4 Race Service Course Clincher Road Tyre as an all round training/racing tyre. It definitely holds the road better, is less prone to cutting and gives a longer life than the disappointing Pro Race 3. I have had no real issues with these tyres over the past 1.5 years.

Great Tires

5

I loved the Pro Race 3's due to their nice ride, great handling and traction. The PRO 4.s are just as good and maybe better, These are not meant to be the most durable tire in the world. They are meant to be fast, ride well, and have good durability relative to other "race" tires. They do a great job. I am a 200 pound occasional racer and I have less flats than most any tire I've used. And these things have a great ride and really grip when doing fast corners.

Great Tyre

This Michelin Pro 4 Race Service Course Clincher Road Tyre is great, and when PBK can get them to you at such a stellar price it makes the choice a no-brainer. They have great wear and longevity with excellent grip in the wet or dry.

excellent

These Michelin Pro 4 Race Service Course Clincher Road Tyres are noticeably better than the Pro 3 Race tyres. They are much easier to get on and off and feel like they corner better. So far they haven't punctured. I'd recommend them if you're after a fast tyre that's easy to fit.
