The Schwalbe Durano Plus HS 464 SmartGuard Performance Line Clincher tyre is Schwalbe's most puncture protected bike tyre, engineered to eat up the miles while offering extreme protection for your bike. The tyre is fitted with SmartGuard® protection, which features a substantial 5mm-thick layer of flexible, special Indian rubber which fields any potential damage and shields your tube. Despite this outstanding protection, the tyre is built for racing and uses Dual Compound technology to provide excellent grip and poise on even the wettest wintry roads. - L.R.

The best tires for me who do about 5000KM with those tires. And the price is about 50% lest than our price in Canada.
I was skeptical at first given the weight, but after first hand seeing the puncher resistance of these tires I can't ignore their reliability. To give you an example: I was in Tucson AZ last week and noticed after my rides I was able to pick out thorns, glass and little rocks. If you have ever had a thorn in your tire you know they're silent killers, burying in and causing a slow leak. Over my 2 week stay I had zero flats, while my four mates had multiple. I would also like to add that they roll very well on my wide Belgium + rims, making descending down Mt. Lemmon fluid! Pros: Puncher resistance. Lots of side tread for hitting corners hard. Cons: Weight (not much of a con because your not flatting as a regular tire would). Tire Wear; I would really like to see these tires have better mileage, I had noticeable tread wear and flat spot (rear) after 700km or so. All in all, worth the buy!
