Best Racing Tire Ever!

Does not last long but excellent to put a new set for that big race or grandfondo. Im riding tubeless and got my first flat with sealed up quite nicely from 97 psi to about 65 psi was able to ride home comfortably. These tires work best tubeless in my opinion. Unable to buy another pair all sold out. Think of these tires as the Red tire in Formula 1.

What happened?

I’ve been riding Vittoria tires for well over 25 years. I rode the Open Corsa clinchers for many years. The Open Corsa tires were super smooth, provided a great feel on the road and allowed for my preference in tire pressure. I was happy to deal with the slightly lower mileage/life and some susceptibility to punctures in exchange for the great performance. That said, regarding the new Corsa Speed Tubeless Graphine tires… I don’t know what has happened but Vittoria should not put their name on this tire. I was able to get about 200 miles on this rear tire until the rubber delaminated from the casing on the middle of the Contact patch in a couple spots. I have used the other Corsa G+ tires (standard non-tubeless) and did not have this issue. That said, I think the wear life on the older Open Corsa CX tires might have been better than the newer Graphine models. I do like the feel of the Graphine tire however. Bottom line is I think whoever is making this Corsa Speed Tubeless G+ tire for Vittoria has a quality control problem or the tire design just sucks. On a tangent, I would love to see the Italians begin to make all of their own bicycle products once again… no more made in China please Vittoria? I personally don’t ever want to buy anything made in China again.

Poor Durability and Puncture Protection

As the title says, these tires are not very durable or puncture resistant. They do mount quite easily compared to other tubeless tires but they are so very thin on the tread. I usually get a full season out of my Schwalbe tubeless - about 6000km but the back tire of these Vittoria Corsa Speed G+ TR is already worn to the threads after maybe 1000km at most. The rubber on these tires does stick to the road very well in all conditions, perhaps since the rubber is a little softer than others and possibly why they wear out faster - or maybe just less rubber on them to start, to keep the weight down. I don't feel that these were any faster than Schwalbe's, though that is the reason that I wanted to try them. I am also giving the Conti GP5000 TL's a try next, since these will be coming off now. For the price, I will not go back for the Vittoria's.

Great Tire, Great Price, On-Time Delivery

My Review Title says it all! Based upon a trusted ride buddy's experience-based feedback, I chose these tires for a new bike/new wheelset build. My timing was "good" in that I was able to use a discount. Based on the first 300k use, it's clear that the tires are fast rolling. Tho' not tested on, say, a gravel sector, I have caught scattered gravel at speed and head-on with no cuts. So far, QUITE good!

Impossible tyres don’t buy them

Bought these as they can be used tubeless or with tubes except they are impossible to get onto normal wheels without using tyre levers and are then far too tight. Puncturing every inner tube was inevitable as the tyres are just too tight on the rims. These can ONLY be used as tubeless, don’t believe the hype.

Corsa Speed

I have been riding the Schwalbe One tubeless for TT's. These tires seem much faster. Fit true to size. Installed a 23c up front for a closer match to the wide Enve 7.8 clincher rim and the 25c for the rear Sub 9.

Awesome feel

Super low roll resistance that you can feel fastest tire there is thin though if you get a flat remember the tire is tubeless if you want to go that route that's what it is designed for if you want it
