Token C45R

Only ridden a few hundred kms on them so far, but feel sturdy and much lighter than my previous alloy wheels. Handle bumpy roads well and look great on the bike.

Great wheels & super service

5

These wheels are solid. Have handled well on descents and climbs in my two seasons of use. Great looking and very performance oriented. They saved my life on a simultaneous blowout of two Continental 5000 tires on a descent at 60km/hr. The tires exploded on contact with road hazard but the TOKEN C45 wheels remained intact. Some minor scratches on the front and back wheel. The front wheel needed replacement (small crack on breaking surface). Overall, very satisfied. Solid wheels. Thank you Tony at Token Products.

Wheels

Great wheels, lightweight, look awesome, durable, suitable for all road exploits, amazing value for money, what's not to like. Probikekit sell these cheaper than all other competitors! Professional service and best value.

After 6 months usage

3

Loved the wheels at start of season. After 6 months and 4250km the rear wheel (ArsenalQ) bearing has collapsed. First time in 40+ years of cycling that I had to replace bearings on any set of wheels. Plus, the surface rim where brake pads contact the carbon rim is starting to show signs of usage. I clean the wheels after every ride. Pads are cleaned as well.

Token C45 Resolute

Have ridden these wheels since the beginning of the season in the worst weather and road conditions in Quebec, Canada. Rode them for over 1000km, in the mountains, in descents and flats. They handle superbly. Have done major GranFondos without any issues. They run smooth and handle with precision. I ride a Cannondale Supersix Evo equipped with SRAMRED and these wheels are a perfect match. Will be buying more Token wheels in the future. For now I am very satisfied. Thank you, Token.

GREAT WHEELS

4

Bought at the very end of last season and raced immediately. Trained on till end of October and on very dry days over the winter Brought to Spain for a heavy training week and got me up and down some mountains with no issues. Still as true as when I bought them and have not needed any maintenance. About 3000 kms on them so far. All good so far. 6ft 2" and 85 kgs and have not had any issues but will service in the coming weeks before start of the season.

Dangerous wheels

1

Rear wheel collapsed on the 10th ride on a bike path. After using my own money to send back the wheels and hopefully get refunded for it, I had a replacement set two months later. Less than 50 rides later, the front bearing came loose. I used my own money to send it back again and wanted a refund or store credit due to the fact I no longer trusted the wheels after such a dangerous display. I was not able to get a refund or credit, even though I had been sent defective products. So now I am stuck with the dangerous product I no longer want.

Dangerous wheels

The rear wheel collapsed on my tenth ride. The front hub started coming apart on around the fortieth ride. Probikekit refused to refund me after selling defective products. To make matters worse, the people at Token did not seem to care about any of this and would not do anything. So a year later and half my warranty gone, I am stuck with these low quality wheels. I recommend never buying Token or anything from Probikekit. Nashbar is a reputable company that will stand by their products.
