Snug but Solid

Summary and positives: I used this bike case for the first time last week flying from Amman to Doha. The first time I packed it took a while to feel out the best position and find a strategic packing methodology. If you have a larger bike (I have a 60cm), get ready to be creative. Regardless, it will fit. I even made space for my helmet, a kit, a bag of basic tools, rags, and lube, and a large pump! Just remember to keep it under 32kg for most airlines. My bicycle arrived safely but the case definitely has some noticeable use after the first trip. The scratches are just blemishes and I expect many more as is called for with airlines handling you luggage. I would definitely use zip ties to make sure the latches don't pop open. All in all, I trust putting my bicycle in this case for sure and if it lasts for at least for years to come, I'll be very happy. Also, the wheels are awesome. Negatives: the case is expensive no doubt, but it's a price I was willing to pay as my job will call for me to travel for months at a time. Additionally, the wonderful crush rods that you put on the skewers are not intuitive and Bonza's online instructions are not very helpful. The one video with the triathlete shows her using her normal skewers. The other Bonza video shows how to use the provided skewers but it is very low quality and it looks like my skewers have a bunch of extra stuff that that video doesn't show. I used them so that my bike definitely would not get crushed, but I'm not sure if I am using them correctly and hopefully the metal rivets will not get damaged. The final thing is the width. No matter how much I rearranged the bike, I felt that the pressure needed to get the case closed was just a little too much. Thankfully the foam is very heavy duty and absorbent so I wasn't too concerned, but make sure you take off your derailleur.
