Too tight

Using standard Camelbak Podium Chill bottles which are very popular, the cage is too tight. It takes 20-50lbs of force to insert, which might be too much for the carbon frame / nut interface.

Way to tight!

I purchased this bottle cages but I can’t get my bottles in and out safely when I ride. They are way too tight. Especially when it’s cold, the bottom rubber elastic that allows the opening and closing up the cage becomes tight and I’m flexible. I wouldn’t buy these again.

FRP cage

The cages hold the bottles securely but are a bit flexy while mounted doing to my TT bottle cage seat bracket. They probably will be less flexy when mounted to the tubes though. Good quality for the price!

Can't Go Wrong with These

Had these for nearly six years on my old Cervelo S5. Never came close to losing a bottle over so many tens of thousands of km. They looked good on the bike too. Liked them so much I just bought another two to go on my new S5 as I just sold the old one with the cages left on it.

Excellent cages

I've used these on a few long rides now. The fit is snug for my water bottles but they are easy enough to remove and replace when on the fly. No danger of your bottles flying out on bumpy roads. The construction of the product looks and feels sturdy, so I feel they will be around for the long haul after repeated use. The look of the cages is excellent. I'm very happy with this purchase.
