Terrific Gift
I’ve had one of these for a long time, and it is absolutely the greatest blinkie. So, I bought one for my wife who has owned a succession of unwieldy, unreliable, poorly made blinkie. I would say that buying it as a gift is the best recommendation. It is small, fits around the handlebars, has several blinking speeds and a solid light too. We have the USB charger, and that, of course, is easy to use. A blinkie is IMO really important for road riding in the day. (She and I don’t do any night riding.) And this little fellow is the best.
Excellent Blinkie
I ride in the daytime, and I like a blinkie mainly to noticed by cars on side-streets that might pull out in my path. This light has three blinking frequencies. The slowest, my favorite, is adequate as the light intensity is strong (but not ridiculously so). The charge will last for 2 rides of 50 miles, but I charge it after each ride anyway. It is quickly charged. It is also easily and tightly mounted at each use with an elastic fastener that is not permanently on the handle bars. So I can switch it between bikes. A nice feature is that the apparatus is small. So, I’m not carrying a laser cannon. The light comes with the mount and a usb charging cable.
