Boxer Ulock Broke when droppedickly

My 2 Mastiff chains with Boxer Ulocks were delivered 12/09/2019 and today is almost 2 months later. I dropped the lock portion on the sidewalk from approx 26 " and it broke the locking mechanism. A little spring is now sticking out and the lock is nonfunctional. The chain itself isn't as nice as it should be - only the first links are cleaned up from big sharp welding debris pieces and the cloth isn't as long as it could be to prevent scratching. The velcro cloth fasteners aren't very good (they become detached a bit too easily) compared to how Kryptonite finishes their locks with a rubber guard to prevent scratching your bike. Nevertheless , the OnGuard price was good. Now not so happy with OnGuard. If a drop of 2 feet kills it, how would it stand up to a real attack?
