Fit to Specialized Sllex
4I wanted guards for a 2020 Specialized Allez with no rubbing. This bike has mounting points but I'm not sure why they bother as I couldn't find any full length mudguards that would fit so I ended up buying these. They fitted easily and there's no rubbing. You have about 15mm mm of adjustment where the stays join the mounting clip so can get a good fit. I fitted them onto the qr skewers as designed as I don't think they would fit on the frame mounts without some fettling.

4Good mudguards, easy to fit and remove if for example it’s a dry day! Easy to tweak the position too. I couldn’t fit in the small portion between the brakes and the frame as there wasn’t quite enough room but my bottom has remained dry so can’t say it was a problem. Only issue is that my mate behind me still gets a face full of water which I didn’t think would be an issue with these longer guards.

4Easy to install and look fine although the ends that hold the fixing brackets at the brakes look a bit bulky. Some rattling from the rear guard where it knocks against the seat tube but easily fixed with a sticky pad (it says on the box to apply the frame protectors supplied - but none are supplied!; at least not in my box). Otherwise rattle free and solid. Have previously tried the Cruds but they are quite flimsy and I couldn't get the front not to rub - these are fine and quite rigid. The brakes are not entirely protected as the guards stop each side but I haven't found this to be a massive problem. Overall, very happy.

4SKS Raceblade Long Road Mud Guard Fenders are excellently built and a great alternative for individuals with little clearance under their brake calipers. However, the installation of these fenders is absolutely painful and will take you anywhere from 1-3 hours depending on your bike. Once they are on however, they are quiet and very effective.

4This is a great mudguard for the rider & anyone else behind them! Nothing of significance gets to the 'draftee' on a rainy ride. Not as simple to attach as some others, but still very easy.

3The Race Blade fenders are excellent and the design feature of mounting through the skewer makes for the most secure (never runs on the tire) fender possible. The shipping from Probikekit to my home took nearly six weeks, a very long time. The shipping box arrived damaged and wet. I was home at the time of delivery. After five weeks I contacted customer service via Live Chat. Their response was friendly and prompt. Apparently the package had been delayed by customs inspections. I would buy from probikekit again, but not for items I need right away or for anything fragile.

3The mudguards are good for bikes with not enough clearance for traditional m/guards, they keep the muck off you & anybody cycling behind but the gap for the brakes and the short guard on the rear wheel mean your brakes & front mech get a lot of mck off the wheels.

5A really well made set of mudguards. I bought these to replace my four year mudguards and they are a big improvement. Very east to fit ( just watch the video first). Strong quick to remove and stay in place. a bargain.
