Not much to be said for this other than it's my go to tape and has been for a long time. I've not found anything as comfortable whilst still being grippy.

Too Short

Before you slam me for saying the tape is too short, I believe most tapes are too short. It shouldn't have to require an engineering feat to wrap a handlebar, and maybe even have a mere two inches EXTRA. The bar end plugs are horrible as well. Been riding for 35+ years and raced CAT2 for over 10 years. I can gut a bike down to the last bearing and rebuild it like new, yet these tapes still mystify me.... another two inches? I would pay extra.

This tape is a little more plush than some and reminds me of the wrap on golf clubs. I am a long distance ride and my hands take a beating . This adds a bit of comfort.. This tape has layers and can handle being warped again, where some are damaged. High quality , long lasting, great colors and a classic look.

this is the best tape I have ever used. strong, easily cleanable, long lasting. I wipe with citrus degreaser after every ride. last the entire season and more. BUY IT. I also use the fizik gel underneath for less stress on my hands.

FIZIK make good gear

I have to say one look at my bar tape and you could tell it had been used, it was definitely due. I have used Fizik tape previously and always liked the quality, when looking on PBK i couldn't go past this tape when it was on sale. I'm not to most skilled when it comes to wrapping bars but once done I was impressed with how good this stuff looked. I will be buying it again.

The fizik performance tape is middle of the pack price wise but works great and has a nice feel, not too much padding. I love the way my bike looks when the new tape is put on. Why spend big bucks on tape when this product has a real "pro" feel.
