It`s warm, it`s soft and probably protects from rain. A good skully for winter with one flaw: it doesn`t really cover a normal human ears:) I live in Calgary, Alberta and I bike to work every day. When I leave in the morning the temperature is around 0C at this time of the year and I`m still OK with this skully and the bike helmet. When it`s crazy cold, colder than -15C to -25 or -30 I`ll get back to my usual gear for my bike commute: ski helmet and goggles. The title meaning: "Almost there..." because if the skully had some flaps for the ears would have been perfect.
