The Castelli Pavé Jacket is made from an ultralight microfiber performance fabric for wet weather protection. Castelli have collaborated with eVent® to create a lighter version of the fabric that they supply to some WorldTour teams.
With a close cut design for improved aerodynamic performance, the Pavé jacket features fully taped seams and a waterproof YKK Vislon® zipper for optimal protection. Complete with an extra-long tail for additional spray protection, silicone gripper elastic at the waist to prevent the jacket from riding up and minimal construction so it fits easily into a jersey pocket. – A.D.

Castelli Pave Jacket
Very happy with purchase and does what is stated in the description. Light yet water proof. Like the long tail and easy to get to pockets in jersey. Fits easily into rear jersey pockets when not needed. Have had no issues with sweating underneath at this stage.
Castelli Jacket
The jacket is a comfortable lightweight jacket which I have used in cold and wet conditions. I found it to be a tight fit at size small (I usually fit a small comfortably). Despite this the arms were very long. Suprisingly the arms did not flap in the wind. During fast descents I liked how the jacket did not flap and make noise. I found it snug but not too tight. The length was good too (not to long or short for me). The zip is a good size and robust. I liked that it was metal (not plastic or tiny) - I felt that would last unlike some plastic zips. The jacket was quite wind proof too and was a great fit around the neck when fully zipped up. While I have not been out in a heavy downpour I have subjected it to some rain and wind and was suprised at how dry I remained. The only reason I gave the jacket 4 instead of 5 was that the jacket was hard to fit into a rear shirt pocket when not in use - although it did fit (just) with a lot of squashing and rolling. I would have no hesitation in buying the jacket again especially at the heavily discounted price!!
Pave is Perfetto light
Breathable and water-proof.Beads off the rain and not hot to wear even in 13 degrees C. Zip is easy to use for extra cooling in light showers. Go for your usual Castelli size, my medium Gabba and Perfetto jerseys are a 'race fit', the medium Pave Jacket has enough extra room to be comfortable over the top. I'm 179cm (5ft11) and 74kg and medium is a great fit. Sleeve length is good, so even tall skinny climbers will be OK. No pockets, but easy to lift up the Pave to access jersey pockets underneath. Gets 5 stars at the heavily discounted price, would not pay the RRP.
