Hard to say what I think because, for some reason, I was expecting something completely different. I received them at the same time as a pair of Sealkinz gauntlets. They look like my black dress socks. They feel like my black dress socks. So I wore them on a 10 km run and my toes were frozen. I wore them underneath another pair of thermal socks and went cycling for a while and my toes were frozen. I went back to my plain sport socks and my toes were just as cold. So I really can't say. I am not sure that these socks upgraded my kit like some other things I have purchased. The gauntlets are the best winter gloves I have ever worn for cold weather PT, but these are just comfy lightweight socks that I will wear out indoors or in warm weather, no doubt, but they have no use for me in the cold.
