Fits short body / long leg body type
3The general quality of the shorts and pad was good. I had two problems with the straps though. The first issue is that they are very short relative to the shorts themselves; since I have a long body and short legs, that makes them very tight. I had the right size though; if I'd gone a size up, they would have been down to my knee. The other thing about the straps is that they get skinny under tension, like an elastic band, which makes the first problem worse. I have bibs from other makers that are made to lie flat even under tension; something I would honestly expect at this price point.

5Excellent product and the pad is so comfortable on long rides. Service and price from ProBikekit is excellent too and you have the option to pay in four interest free payments with Clearpay over a couple of months

5Fabulous , comfortable, feel like a second skin. No friction on long humid summer rides. I am a stocky cyclist 175cm 93.2 kg with a large muscular glutes, so a 2Xlarge fits best.

4Great fit, awesome chamois, superb look. The only reason they don't get 5 stars is the price, I have paid much less in the past for Castelli Free Aero Race bibs.

5Castelli kit is always top-notch, and these are no exception. First set of bib shorts, so I don't have much for direct comparison, but they are very comfortable. Shammy stays in position and provides good cushion without being too bulky. Comfortable for 2-3 hour rides, and the vertical grippers on the legs are much kinder to leg hair (also work very well). Not sure how much aero difference the dimpled texture really makes, but they look fast, if you care. Got these on a good sale for about half price, and would say they're well worth it at that. Like all Castelli kit they fit snug - I'm a L for most cycling shorts (Sugoi, etc) but an XL was right for these.

5I’m a bib sceptic. I have one pair that I'm not that fussed on... I get really hot. In general I think bibs are trying to solve a problem that doesn't exist. So I was not expecting great things, But these are comfy... Just did 150km and they're very nice. They feel really good on. I'm 100% certain the magic dots will make me go faster too... Right? They have very lightweight shoulder straps and mid section. Today was a cold autumn day in Sydney 8C and ok working hard in them even after the temp finally climbed a bit. Not sure if they'll be cool enough for me in summer but we'll see. They're certainly comfortable.

4I contemplated buying these for a while unsure if they were worth the price tag. I have tried various other bib shorts from a few different brands and always been a bit underwhelmed until now. I am 5ft 11” have a 32” waist and weigh 73kg and for me a large was just about perfect but probably on the limit before having to go up to an XL. They are tight to get into but once on they are super comfy and snug with good compression. The leg grippers are perfect and do their job well. The pad is super comfy and the rides I have done so far (up to 4 hrs) I haven’t even thought about them. They look good on and are superb quality, my only mino gripe is that the shoulder straps are a little on the short side and not very wide so can dig in a little, but ok so long as you pull them up fully and spread the straps out over your shoulders. Think I might have found my new go-to bib shorts 👌🏽

5I'm on my second pair of these fantastic bibshorts, which are now my Go To for long rides. They are super comfortable, - I've had zero discomfort even on 6 hours+ rides in heat. I love these shorts! Castelli sizing is very much on the small side and I need to order a size up for all my Castelli gear. Normally I take a Medium but with these I take a Large. I am 180cm and 68kg and a Large fits perfectly.

4Best cut. Best Lycra material. Best grips. Incredibly gently hugging shorts with superb cut. Could ride with or without stripes on. Unfortunately ruined by mediocre pad. Foam quality is so so, also problematically shaped making the chance of properly falling under seat bones very slim. Was lucky to have one of superb Elastic Interface Road Perfomance pads in my closet which my wife was able to sew in instead of original Castelli one. Now this bib is the best for me. Usually I wear Medium if it is Assos, on this Castelli had to go to XL to fit well.
