Castillo Competizione jerseys
Nice enough fabric and manufacturing. I love the look and feel actually. However the sizing is a disaster. I’m 6 ft, 82 kg and have worn everything from M to XL over the past 35 yrs of avid cycling. Never have I worn a jersey that rides so low an the back that it catches on the saddle when I stand up. It’s like a night shirt or something. I am really disappointed in this because I’d planned to wear these jerseys regularly. I have an older Castelli jersey which almost has the opposite problem. I don’t know whether all castelli jerseys have this same fit but it’s the only maker whose jerseys have presented this problem.
Inconsistent sizing
This jersey is much bigger than other styles. I had bought several Castelli jerseys size ‘S’ and they fit me fine. But this one is definitely bigger. It is between ‘S’ and ‘M’. I can wear it with one winter under layer and still not feeling tight. You need to go one size down. Unfortunately they don’t have XS in this style.
