Damage caused by incorrect fitting, debris, solvents, UV damage, or wear and tear are not covered.
While puncture protection increases the tyre's protection against punctures the likelihood of puncturing is merely reduced, there is still a possibility of puncturing and no tyre is 'puncture proof'.

Gatorskins way to go in Colorado especially in the spring and any time of year in the mountains
Colorado roads can be really tough on tires and I have had nothing but GREAT performance out of Gatorskins who when I got my new bike with 32's I said this will be the way to go, especially with Ride the Rockies coming up soon. Was trying to figure out, since I will be about 2k miles on the tires that came on the bike by the time RTR hits I will be swapping out to the Gatorskins a week before the ride to make sure they get broken in and ready to roll.

Could this be the dawning of the age of puncture-free training?The proof of the pudding with a tyre like this is its durability though, and this is where the Gator Hardshell really wins at this time of year. Winter punctures can be really demoralising and you end up wasting valuable training time as you fix them in the cold and rain.I managed quite a few miles on these, over a variety of surfaces and in a variety of weather, and they still look like new. More importantly I managed all this without getting a single flat. Winner!The recommended price is a little steep, but tyres can usually be picked up much lower; and anyway these could potentially last the whole winter â€“ and think of the savings on tubes and patches! While I wonâ€™t be racing on these tyres come summer, itâ€™ll take something pretty special to get them off my wheels before the spring.
The Gator Hardshell is a very durable, puncture resistant and comfortable tyre, at relatively high pressure it is yielding and comfortable for long rides. When it comes to a high speed training session or 50+ mile chain gangs this would not be my first choice but in terms of a winter training tyre, club runs and for committed commuters this is an excellent tyre.

Very hard wearing tires - finally threw out my last pair after ~2000km of commuting and training on Australian roads [where you may as well be a street sweeper!!]. The tires had numerous small cuts where glass had cut the outer layer of rubber but had not penetrated through to the tube, testament to their construction.
The only bad experience thus far in >3years riding on them was when a stone slashed through the sidewall of my rear tire, rendering it useless; however, I reckon you'd struggle to find a tire that would have survived the same!
I recommend these tires to everyone.

Solid, fast, awesome
Bought these due to an abundance of winter flats on my previous tyres, these are an order of magnitude better.
Keeps me upright and stays inflated, couldn't really ask for more.

Over all the best tires made, I've had these for two years riding 5 days a week to and from work with is about 8 miles there and back, got one pinch flat, but within two years that's just great, really amazing tires

these work great on my track bike that I use for everyday riding, these work well with the abuse of potholes wet floors and constant skidding, and I've had them for about a month now and they're still good
Bombproof tyre, never had a puncture and 6500km old
I ride with my girlfriend and of course I get to ride in the gutter, through all the glass, debris and other road gunk!
I can happily say that after 6500km, I have never had a puncture and these tyres are still going strong! If you are looking for an ultra tough road tyre for training, this is the one.
This tyre is not fast though, great for training and when you pop on your race wheels after using these. You will feel like you are flying along!
(Only thing I could ask for is a couple of different colours to choose from)
Tough training tyre that rolls well too
Continental's Gatorskin is one of our favourite training tyres. Itâ€™s very quick and itâ€™s tough enough for winter riding, audax and fast commuting â€“ so long as you keep it topped up to its recommended pressure and donâ€™t leave ï¬‚ints and the like embedded in the tread.
But for those wanting more puncture protection and wear life, Continental have introduced a new Hardshell version. Thereâ€™s a bit more tread rubber, a wider polyester breaker strip under the tread, and a three-ply rather than two-ply polyamide casing to help prevent slashed sidewalls.
