I've been rolling on these for a couple of years, and they are excellent daily ride tyres. They get great mileage, are extremely puncture resistant and very grippy. Only minor quibble is that they are tight to get on tubeless ready rims when they are brand new. Not so much of an issue once they've been on your rim for a bit.
As a former professional cyclist, this is the third time I have bought this tire. It has an excellent balance between good performance, durability and longevity. Excellent grip, low rolling resistance and good price.
I've been riding these for a couple of years now and they are really outstanding tyres. Good grip all year round and they wear well, I get significantly more mileage out of these than out of GP4000S. They are also very puncture resistant. So if you're someone that rides everyday these are perfect. Only minor quibble is that they can be very tight to put on when brand new, especially on rims that are tubeless ready.
In March of this year, I had my first set of Panaracer Race D Evo 3 (700 x 25c) clincher tires installed for road riding. Starting with last year, my trail tires continue to be Panaracer's Gravel King SK (700 x 32c) and the quality of these tires gave me confidence to try the Race D for road tires. Simply put - the Race D tires far surpassed my expectations. Although I did not rotate tires back to front - an oversight on my part - I still managed to ride 5,300 km before needing to replace the rear tire - and zero flats in that time period (March 2018 - August 2018). These tires are worth the price and live up to their reputation for longevity and puncture resistance. I highly recommend these tires and have fellow riders in the local club riding on the Race D - their collective experience has been equally good. Give these tires a try - you'll be very pleased with the results. I'm sold on them and have bought replacement sets for the future. One word of caution - these are a very tight fit and will require quite a bit of patience when installing.
I have been riding Panaracer Gravel King SK for the last season and have nothing but praise for them. Long lasting - over 2,400 km on the first set and just starting to show signs of wear; puncture resistance - had 1 flat from a metal staple which would flat any tire; grip - the tread design has always provided grip and confidence. When it came time to pick a new road tire, I read up on the Panaracer D Evo 3 and it checked all the right boxes for me - durability, grip and puncture resistance. Last season I had been riding the Specialized Turbo S and although they had very low rolling resistance, the longevity was short - they were done after 1,400 km. So, it was time to choose a new road tire and the Race D Evo 3 was my tire of choice. Could not be happier. Have about 600 km or so thus far on the first set - so not even broken in yet - and these have lived up to their name. Everything I'd hoped for and more. These are tough tires - have gone through grit/gravel I'd expected to give a flat and just kept on rolling. I've got Panaracers on all of my wheel sets and highly encourage you to give them a try if you're in the market for a new set of tires.
