I bought the Reynolds Assault/Strike Slg set in December 2016. I did about 1000 km on these wheelsso far. Here are my impressions. FYI, I'm running 25mm Conti GP4000s II at 80psi (I weight 62 kg) with Conti super sonic tubes. -Shipping etc: the shipping from UK to Quebec, Canada was reasonably fast, a few days over PBKs estimate however. -Comfort: Coming from box section aluminum wheels, the Reynolds allow me to run lower pressures which translates into lots of comfort as tested on several 7h+ rides without any soreness -Dry braking: Good, using the provided cryo blue power pads, no concerns here -Wet braking: decent! this actually suprised me. I had no issues slowing down during a long decent in a rain storm. It took a second for the brakes to grab and I had to use more force on the brake lever but the braking was consistent. -Stiffness: the wheels are plenty stiff for me and I did not experience brake rub during out of the saddle climbing on some 20% sections. However, I'm not very heavy so take that with a grain of salt. Overall: I would recommend these wheels. The braking performance in dry and wet is good enough the wheels are stiff enough for me. For the price (I got them on discount for about 1450 CAD) the wheels are a good choice.
