Didn't fit my frame - are all bb386evo created equal?

This might be a wonderful BB. Rotor have a great reputation, and it felt very high quality out of the box. But the outer diameter of this part is too big to go into the BB shell on my frame (2018 Ridley X Trail C), so my LBS was unable to fit it. Return process was very efficient, and it's not in any way PBK's fault that this part doesn't fit.
