Took a chance on these shoes as I couldn't find a lot of info/reviews on line. Seems these shoes are a bit rare on the roads. I've been using them for 2 months and they have exceeded my expectations. They look great. Nice stiff sole feeling solid while pedaling in and out of the saddle. Decent air flow. The 'tacky' material on the heel is actually quite functional, as it does help keep your heel in place. Just did a cold, rainy 165km race with them and still didn't experience any concerns w/ numbness, pressure points, or other comfort issues. Compared w/ other brands of shoes (specialized, sidi, shimano), I found them to fit about a half size larger. The 'feel' of the fit is closest to shimano. Lots of room in the toe area. 4 starts instead of 5 for 2 reasons only. While the buckles work well, the ratchet feels a bit cheap and I'm not convinced they'll stand up to multi-years of use as my Specialized pro carbons did. Secondly, while the insole is adequate, I've had better. Overall great shoe though!
great, light, a lot of aeration, fits perfectly with my shimano ultegra pedals
Got these as primarily commuter replacement shoes. For the sale price this is an excellent buy. But would have been disappointed if paid the RRP. The carbon sole makes these very stiff, they are reasonably comfortable, and plenty of breathability. They feel slightly chunky compared to say.. hi end sidi or shimano or specialized which are a more snug shoe racing shoe. Heaps of room in the toe box. Terrific shoe if you are new to road cycling and nervous about spending too much, or need a back up shoe for wet weather etc. I am size 44 slightly wider foot and the 44 fit me well.
Thank you for quick delivery and quality.
Light and great styling, carbon sole, comfort and easy close system make this a bargain
These shoes have a great sole, as for the rest of the shoe they are only average. Having said that they are comfortable and make a good training shoe. The ratchet seems a little light weight and some of the materials are a little cheaper. Plenty of room in the toe box, you get what you pay for generally but these are quite good value for the money
