cheap and functional

This is a great price from the company that invented the compact bar its stiff though a little on the heavy side, but how can you complain for the price.

Nice bars

4

Bought a set of Vero Compact bars as a cheap replacement for the track bars on a fixie.

Very nice bars - the shape feels good in the hand and encourages you to spend more time in the drops. The oversize section extends far enough that you won't have trouble installing lights, computers etc.

One thing to be careful of: the shape means that the reach from the drops to the Tektro brake levers (which mimic the shape of Campy levers) is a bit of a stretch for my small hands. Levers with adjustable reach (or larger hands) would solve the problem.

great bars

I love these bars, every hand position on these is very comfortable: drops flat and hoods I highly recommend!

Love this bar

Bought these a little over a year ago now. They've been great. Nice and stiff. A short reach for us short torso people and the drops are a nice shape.
If you want something with a shorter reach and a nice shallow drop these are worth a try! Can't beat the price either.

Standard Road Compact Bar

The FSA Vero has a standard "compact" design which means it has a tight radius bend that results in less drop than either a traditional or "ergo" bar. It is best suited for riders with an aggressive position (low handlebars) who can race both in the drops and on the hoods. My example comes in around 230g with good stiffness which makes it a great choice for a racer.
