Buttery

What a great purchase! I have read online that these replaced the Michelin Krylion Carbon clinchers (which I have a lot of experience with), and I can say that these are excellent. Michelin has managed to keep all the hard-wearing puncture resistance of the krylion, and improved the suppleness of the casing. It rolls much smoother, grips harder, and makes riding a lot more comfortable. For the price, this has got to be way up on the list for those looking for performance and durability.

Best of the Best

I have tried Conti Gatorskins, Specialized Armadillo, and Michelin Krylion, which was the predecessor to the Pro Race 4 Endurance. The Gatorskins don't seem to have the puncture resistance of the Michelins. The Armadillos are heavy with a harsh ride. The Pro 4 Endurance are reasonably light, have a smooth ride and are remarkably puncture resistant. Comparing prices at local bike shops, the Michelins are also less expensive. Two friends that had Pro 4 Race tires had a lot of flats until they switched to Pro 4 Endurance tires. Friends with Pro 4 Service Course faired better than those with Pro 4 Race tires. Six people in our local bike club that use either the Krylions or the Endurance tires love them. I fix a lot of flats, mostly on friends bikes with Conti Gatorskins, but not on my bike with Pro 4 Endurance tires. I get about 3000 miles on the rear tire and 4000 or more on the front tire. I do recommend the Michelin Pro 4 Endurance to all my friends and relatives.

these are great tyres for training. I have had a really good run with these.one tyre did get a glass cut but not enough to deflate the tyre.the wear has been very minimal after about 750 km.i highly recommend them as atraining tyre.

Have used these before and seem puncture resistant provided pumped up to proper pressure. Current set have lasted since April and will continue to use until they show signs of wear. Seem an ideal replacement for the discontinued Michelin Krylion carbon.

4000k and not a puncture until I hit a rock, then put the front tyre on the rear and got another 100k from that before I hit glass and cut the tyre down to the casing. it did not fail and continued for another 300k. great training tyre

Great trainer

Someone recommended these tyres to me. I'm glad they did! Through the years I have tried them all and by far, these have performed the best over the winter months, through glass and roadside rubbish, they still keep going. Pretty dead tyres performance wise, but you couldn't go wrong using them as trainers.

I needed a light but robust tyre for a 1200km Audax ride recently. These tyres seemed to provide a good compromise between puncture resistance and good rolling resistance/weight. After 1200km they had very few nicks despite fairly ordinary road conditions.
